It’s been more than seven years since we first opened the doors of the Rusty, and we’re pretty damn happy to have found a home for ourselves here in the heart of East Oxford. We’re a neighbourhood pub through and through, and this summer we want to celebrate the community that’s helped make the Rusty what it is today. So (with permission) we’re closing a section of Hurst Street and throwing an almighty party!

On the 30th July we’ll be serving up food all day, with space to eat, drink, and socialise on the street. Most importantly for the booze-enthused among you, we’ll have a real ale and cider bar set up outside, featuring award-winning guest beers including Rebellion IPA, Mutiny, Endless Summer, Knight of the Garter, and Conqueror Black IPA.

And of course it wouldn’t be a party without live music – we’ll be pulling up our beer truck and transforming it into a full-on stage for the day, with bands playing throughout the afternoon and into the early evening.

So here’s what you really need to know:

When? Saturday the 30th July, from 12pm.

Where? Corner of Hurst Street & Magdalen Road.

What? Food, drink, live music, good times.

Who? Everybody who makes up our wonderful & diverse community!

…See you there!
