Drawing influence from the likes of Buena Vista Social Club; J Dilla; Marc Ribot; Santana; and, Khruangbin, Los Gusanos infuse genres including cumbia, salsa and champeta with blues and soul to create world-inspired psychedelic soul music.

om Franks Trio, Friday 28th April, 9–10pm.

Former winner of the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musician of the Year competition, Dom’s influences as a musician are eclectic, taking in Joe Lovano, Art Pepper, Gary Bartz, Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, Maceo Parker, Kenny Garrett, Paul Desmond and many stylistic bases in between, both classical and jazz-based. Dom currently leads Dom Franks’ StrayHorn, a groove-driven jazz quartet which performs Dom’s original compositions.
