The pub that started it all.
Opened in 2009 on a quiet street in East Oxford, The Rusty Bicycle was never intended to become the start of a pub company. We simply wanted to create a great local pub serving great beer and good food.
Many of the values and beliefs that still guide Dodo today were shaped here. Some of our first locals still use the pub regularly, reminding us that great pubs are built through relationships, not transactions.

THE RICKETY PRESS
Where Dodo found its feet.
Opened in 2011, The Rickety Press quickly established itself as one of Oxford's leading gastropubs, earning recognition in both the Good Food Guide and a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
In 2015, the pub underwent a major transformation and became the testing ground for the pizza-and-burger concept that would ultimately lead to the creation of Dodo Pub Co.
CHELTENHAM
THE BOTTLE OF SAUCE
Where Cheltenham comes to celebrate.
Opened in 2016, The Bottle of Sauce remains one of our largest and liveliest pubs. Originally a 12-bedroom hotel, it has evolved into a destination for parties, events and community gatherings. Through relationships, not transactions.
The building is also home to Dodo Works, our serviced office spaces, making it one of the busiest buildings in the Dodo family.

THE UP IN ARMS
The pub that found us.
When the former Somerset Pub faced closure, local residents campaigned to save it. We received countless messages asking us to get involved and eventually took on the challenge.
The community were literally "up in arms" about losing their pub, inspiring the name that remains today.
READING
THE LAST CRUMB
Home to the biggest pub garden in Reading.
Opened in 2019 following a full refurbishment, The Last Crumb has become one of our most popular pubs. A true all-year-round pub.
Previously known as The Prince of Wales, it was famous for its gin collection. We inherited over 200 bottles when we took over the site.
WITNEY
THE PART & PARCEL
Opened in 2021 in a former Post Office building, The Part & Parcel sits at the heart of Witney.
Home to famous Sunday roasts, lively weekends, and community feel, it perfectly captures what a modern neighbourhood pub can be.
Thanks to its history as the town's Post Office, we still occasionally have people pop in asking to send a parcel.

A true community pub.
Opened in 2023, The All Inn has become known for its welcoming atmosphere, packed Sunday sessions, comedy nights, community events & more
It's one of the busiest and most loved pubs in the Dodo family, built around bringing people together.

Our smallest pub and arguably our biggest boozer.
Known for great pints, live sport and race-week madness, The Airs & Graces proves that size isn't everything.
A proper local with a big personality, it's become a favourite meeting place for Cheltenham locals and racegoers alike.

THE SLOW & STEADY
Built for bringing people together.
Opened in 2024, The Slow & Steady is one of our largest pubs, combining beautiful indoor spaces, a huge beer garden and a 150-seat private event room.
Designed for celebrations, gatherings and community events, it's quickly become a destination pub for Oxford.
NEWBURY
THE HIGH HORSE
Cosy front pub with high-energy social spaces, private hire rooms and a huge beer garden. A pub for everyone.
Opened in 2025, The High Horse is a large-scale neighbourhood pub with multiple spaces and room for every kind of occasion.

Dodo started in 2009, when four friends; Chris, Leo, Fred and Andy opened The Rusty Bicycle in East Oxford....
