It’s a long-awaited addition to the Dodo Pub Co line-up and marks the group’s first return to roasts in over a decade, a much loved tradition from our early days at The Rickety Press in Oxford, once awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Before Dodo became known for its relaxed neighbourhood pubs, it began with two ideas running side by side; The Rusty Bicycle, a proper locals’ pub, and The Rickety Press, a table service gastropub. When Dodo chose the pub path, we left behind the formality - but never the eye for quality and attention to detail. We just kept it in a more relaxed, pubby setting.

Now, ten years on, the Sunday Roast is returning - not as a throwback to fine dining but as Sunday done properly; generous plates, real bone gravy, crisp potatoes and the same quiet attention to quality that runs through everything we do.
